Greetings! We have never been more excited about what God is doing through Living Stones for the city of Reno.

We finally have the green light to start building, painting and furnishing our new home to function as we envisioned; a downtown campus, a home base of planting and a light for the gospel in Reno.

Below you’ll find 7 categories of items we need to make this building work. We’ve spent a lot of time researching the best options that were both cost-effective and would last longer than 2 years. We’ve trimmed the fat! For example, our A/V gear budget is $75k, $125k less than the average for a church our size.

It’s very important to give to the registry above what you normally give to the LS general fund, because we are still moving forward with ministry while we transition into our new building. The biggest front door to our ministry is our worship gatherings. These funds go toward all of the tech equipment it takes to hold services, record our podcast (currently at 15,000 hits/week) and will pave the way for us to show recorded teaching at new sites in the future.

Chairs
If you've ever come to Living Stones worship gatherings, you have sat in a chair that someone else wrote a check for. Now is the time to pay it forward! Please purchase a few chairs that will be used to hold people who will hear the Gospel preached every weekend. We are buying enough chairs to accommodate both our current worship gathering attendance, plus aggressive growth in the next year. Chairs are $50 each.

General Construction
These funds will bridge the gap between what building materials the owner has paid for and what we need to run a church. This will build the teaching/worship platform where the word will be preached and worship will be led from. Also included is the information counter where people will join Community Groups, as well as a place for guests to learn more about the ministry. Also, raw materials for our sound-booth and storage shelves/cabinetry throughout the building, some flooring, and a dishwasher for disinfecting the LS kids toys. The construction labor is coming from volunteers in the community of LS.

Information Technology
This covers the things we need to work efficiently as a staff and communicate with the community, including computers, networking equipment, phone system, the software we use to support all of our ministries, as well as our website which averages 4,000 hits a month.

LS Kids Ministry

Baptismal
We have decided to build a permanent baptismal that will include steps for access and some tile. The labor is being donated by one of our pastors. This will live in the sanctuary, so that during worship gatherings we can baptize people who are placing their faith in Christ for years to come.
